  1. He’s well fit and looks laid back. An unusual combination, I think, but Guillemain could always find that special breed of model to photograph. In any event, I couldn’t find him in Guillemain’s current online portfolio, although I spent many very enjoyable minutes looking.

    I presume the interest in the chair was simply a lead-in to the model, but it is a striking chair. I found a very similar love seat with tufted black patent leather upholstery and black woodwork, but the vendors all identified it as Gothic, which I’m certain is incorrect. (The Gothic style, like the architecture, is all pointy and has none of the elegant curves seen in this chair or the love seat.)

    • Indeed certainly not Gothic. It looks more like a Baroque or even Rococo piece (or rather a copy of one).
      Mind you I’m using “Boys on Biedermeier” as a category for boys posing on lovely furniture. Francisco Lachowski started it all and I’m sure you know which photo I’m referring to. ;)
