The day to remember the untimely death of River Phoenix 18 years ago.
River Phoenix touched me in many ways as an actor and sinply by his beauty. And watching him in “My own private Idaho” made some things clear to me, about myself and my life.

There’s still some good news to be announced today:
Apperantly director Geoge Sluizer decided to recut and release Rivers last movie “Dark Blood” on DVD next year!

If that’s really going to happen, I’ll certainly be among the first buyers.

Lastly I’m posting an alltime favourite photo of River, shot by Bruce Weber. There’s no good quality pictures on the internet of that one, so I did a photo of River in a swing from Weber’s book “Branded Youth” (hope he won’t mind).
Can you believe I did let go an auction for that very photo on ebay because 450 USD seemed a price too high to me back then?
I guess you can call me stupid…

Just wondering if you have that pic already…I think it’s particularly lovely….
